and Other Interesting Theories on Global Warming

Howard Young is a Graduate of King’s College, London, where he majored in Mathematics. He has worked in sales and marketing management for multi-national corporations. While working in Singapore he met his wife, from our area, and is now a Jersey resident.

He is an independent researcher into the origins of civilization and the human race. This research has led him to question conventional wisdom more and more in a range of academic fields, culminating in a formal framework aimed at bringing together various strands of research into a coherent whole.

His explanation of the effects of a meteor which hit the earth about 12,900 years ago in approximately the area which is now North Carolina is fascinating.  There is evidence that this was the end of the ice age. Howard will explain what effects this had on our planet and the possibility of it happening again.

Your program Chairperson had the opportunity to spend a morning with Howard and found him engaging, well informed and a delightful speaker.

NEW DINNER --6:30 pm, before the Gathering

Join tonight’s presenter Howard Young and your Mensa peers for dinner and sparkling conversation in Le Café Metro in the Woodbridge Hilton starting at 6:30pm. Last month started a “Mensa Buffet” at $14.95 in addition to the regular menu of salads, sandwiches, and pizza. The buffet was good – service was quick and easy. There were 3 hot entrees (fish, fowl and pasta), vegetables, a table with 6 types of salads and a large selection of desserts – including fresh fruits. Both hot and cold beverages are included in the price.  Do join us for dinner, the program or both.

Any questions? Contact our Program Chairperson --Sandy Barron – 609-688-0132 or sbarron84@aol.com. As usual guests are welcome – so bring a friend
